Job Description:
LHH is working on behalf of an outstanding client in the Non-Profit space who is seeking a Grant Accountant to join their team on a 3+ month contract basis. There could be permanent potential for the right candidate. This team is currently working on a hybrid basis in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities:
Review contracts and ensure compliance prior to generating billing invoices to funding source (city, state and federal) Assist in the preparation of grants, contracts, and all restricted funds reporting Prepare budget modifications Process AP and bank deposits as needed Prepare and post month- and year-end closing journal entries Assist with year-end audits
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required 4+ years of relevant grant accounting experience Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups Experience working with a large ERP system Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to be a strong team player
Compensation:
$35 - 48/hr, depending on experience.
