Type:

full-time A multi-strategy investment firm with approximately $28 billion in AUM across private equity, private credit, and real estate is looking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its finance team. This role will support fund-level accounting and investor reporting across multiple fund vehicles, working closely with the Controller and CFO.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for fund vehicles under US GAAP Manage capital call and distribution calculations, waterfall analyses, and investor allocations Coordinate with third-party fund administrators on NAV reviews and reconciliations Support the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors Assist with investor reporting, including capital account statements and quarterly reports Review partnership agreements and LPA provisions to ensure proper accounting treatment Partner with tax team on K-1 preparation and review Help evaluate and improve fund accounting processes and controls as the platform scales

Qualifications:

4-6 years of fund accounting experience, ideally across PE, private credit, or real estate fund structures Big 4 or national accounting firm background a plus (audit or fund services) CPA preferred, not required Strong understanding of partnership accounting, waterfall structures, and GAAP Experience with fund administrators (SS&C, Citco, Gen II, etc.) preferred Excel-strong, comfortable working with large data sets Team player who can work in a lean, fast-paced environment
