Insurance Accountant

Aegis Administration & HeroProtects is growing, and we're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Insurance Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the core of our financial operations, supporting insurance accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles, all while working alongside a collaborative team that values accuracy, integrity, and professional growth. What You'll Be Doing ✔ Supporting monthly and year-end close processes ✔ Preparing account reconciliations and analyzing financial records ✔ Conducting technical accounting research on complex transactions ✔ Contributing to special projects as business needs evolve What We're Looking For ✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) ✔ 3-5 years of accounting experience — insurance accounting required ✔ Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ✔ Sage and/or QuickBooks experience a plus Why Aegis?
