We are seeking an Interim Senior Inventory Accountant for our client to provide immediate support to its inventory accounting function. This consultant will bring strong retail inventory accounting experience, help stabilize the existing team, support day-to-day accounting needs, and learn the business ahead of a planned ERP implementation.

Attributes:

Strong retail inventory accounting experience required Support inventory accounting, reconciliations, general ledger activity, and month-end close Investigate inventory discrepancies and help resolve accounting issues Provide experienced senior-level support to an existing inventory accounting team Strong analytical skills and ability to identify root causes of accounting issues Ability to ramp quickly and work independently with minimal training Strong communication skills and ability to partner across the accounting organization ERP implementation or system conversion experience is a plus Retail inventory experience strongly preferred over manufacturing/WIP-focused inventory backgrounds 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred If you fit this opportunity and these attributes, this could be an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact while supporting an organization through changes and an upcoming ERP initiative.
