This position has been approved to be Full Office. The overall purpose and objective of the Intern is to gain work experience in the field prior to graduating. This is an opportunity to utilize and apply the skills and knowledge learned in the classroom setting and apply it in the workforce. You will be primarily responsible for handling department assigned projects, given a moderate degree of independence. You will frequently meet with supervisors to go over the status and progress of assignments. The Intern (Accounting) will assist with general accounting and administrative support duties for various specialties including accounts payable, general ledger and financial reporting.
