entities and special financial projects for the EJOT ATF organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts. Performs daily duties related to sales & inventory reporting, manual billing, & credit memos. Consignment inventory, fixed asset & related party reporting and reconciliation. Assists with the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments. Streamline and improve inventory accounting and analyses of cost variances. Assists in the preparation of information for the bank, financial & benefits audits, annual corporate tax returns, and year-end support as necessary for standards roll. Recommends improvements to current accounting policies and procedures. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing assigned tasks timely and accurately. Prepares and files government census reports. Provides support with accounts payable processes which includes processing invoices, check runs and replying to vendor inquiries.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advanced Excel and mainframe computer knowledge Ability to effectively interface with individuals at all levels of the organization; shop floor, office, management and ownership Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
Education & Experience:
Two year degree - Accounting/finance preferred 2-3 years directly related work experience involving financial data, financial planning and analysis Demonstrated experience applying the knowledge, skills and abilities identified above
