Payroll Intern

Apply Job Type Internship Description As a Payroll & Accounting intern, you will be involved in supporting all functions related to payroll, including processing semi-monthly and monthly payroll in all states in our payroll system. In this role you will be exposed to overall Payroll functions including processing new hires, processing leaves of absence, salary changes and benefits, and calculating and filing payroll taxes. The ideal candidate would be highly organized with critical attention to details, along with good time and priority management, be proficient in Excel and possess analytical skills with an affinity for math and spreadsheets. This is a great opportunity to gain practical business experience at a leading Electronic Health Record vendor. Requirements Major or concentration in Accounting or related discipline A strong academic background; in good academic standing Strong analytical and problem solving skills Interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, and Google Suite Hiring salary range: $19 per hour. This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
