Property Preservation Specialist I - Hybrid - 1-2 days per week Full time; Non-Exempt; 40 hours/week; Overtime as required. Location;

Claims/REO Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. ("Dovenmuehle") is the leading mortgage subservicing firm in the United States with several hundred financial institution clients nationwide.
General Description:
Responsible for property preservation, including inspections, vacancies, securing, bids/repairs, maintenance, registrations, and code violations. Able to manage and appropriate their time to meet client deadlines for work orders assigned. Performance must comply with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Order property preservation work on vacant properties with outside contractors within required guidelines. Adhere to local ordinances in an ever-changing environment. Monitor work orders to ensure completion of maintenance in a timely manner and within applicable guidelines. Monitor vacant property, damaged property, and bad address reports, as well as managing Vacant Property Registrations/de-registrations. Order and monitor grass cuts, special inspections, and winterization needs. Actively communicate with vendors and investors about property work needs. Review daily reports to monitor property condition needs: understand and take appropriate actions when needed. Confirm the accuracy of vendor work both in scope and costs. Review with the vendor when inconsistencies are found. Timely and accurately update internal/external systems. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients and other employees from different teams and departments and maintain those relationships over time. Willingness to learn new skills and expand job knowledge, through various learning programs, as assigned by leadership. Organize and maintain a log of completed files. Cut checks, document, and pay unpaid utility bills. Comply with the Code of Conduct and regulatory training requirements. Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal communication skills. Problem solving skills and attention to detail/ accuracy. Basic Excel skills. Good writing skills to document call data.
Preferred/Other Qualifications:
2+ Years of customer service experience.

The employee must be comfortable in either an on-site office setting, or a quiet, designated work from home space that is free from distractions and noise. May occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; or lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Employees may be required to type and utilize a computer for long periods of time. The employee may be required to frequently operate a standard variety of office equipment including computers, calculators, copy machines, computer printers and phones. The noise level, if working on-site, is usually moderate and typical of an office environment. Pay:
$18.50 - $19.50 per hour
