$85,000 – $134,000 USD per annum Responsibilities Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records for the company. Process accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices, managing payments, and following up on outstanding balances. Conduct regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Prepare and present key financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submissions. Manage expense claims and company credit card reconciliations. Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and systems. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent platforms. A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and best accounting practices. Exceptional numerical skills and an impeccable eye for detail. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. The ability to work independently and maintain high standards of performance in a remote environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualification would be highly advantageous.
