This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, and wants broad exposure to multiple industries, systems, and business transformation initiatives. Position Overview The Senior Accountant will lead key accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special projects. This professional will partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders while contributing to critical accounting operations across multiple client engagements. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly adaptable, and capable of quickly integrating into new environments to drive immediate value. Key Responsibilities

+ Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

+ Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

+ Analyze financial results and investigate account fluctuations and variances.

+ Maintain and ensure integrity of the general ledger.

+ Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.

+ Support audit requests and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

+ Assist with revenue recognition, fixed assets, lease accounting, and other technical accounting matters.

+ Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

+ Support ERP implementations, system upgrades, and process transformation projects.

+ Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting best practices.

+ Collaborate with Controllers, Finance Directors, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

+ Participate in M& A integrations, business process improvements, and special projects as assigned. Requirements Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

+ Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and financial analysis.

+ Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, or Workday.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in changing environments. Preferred Qualifications

+ CPA license or CPA-track strongly preferred.

+ Public accounting experience preferred.

+ Experience supporting high-growth, pre-IPO, PE-backed, or publicly traded companies.

+ Exposure to system implementations, SOX compliance, or business transformation initiatives.

+ Experience leading accounting projects and mentoring team members. What Success Looks Like
