Senior Accountant Location:

Hybrid About the Opportunity Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the month-end close process, improving accounting procedures, and partnering with leadership to support the organization's financial goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Analyze financial statements and investigate account variances Prepare supporting schedules for audits and tax filings Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Support internal controls and recommend process improvements Partner with cross-functional departments on accounting-related matters Mentor junior accounting staff as needed Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with month-end close and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA or CPA-track is a plus EB-2826807872
