Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for key accounting operations across procure-to-pay, vendor management, inventory and cost accounting, and general corporate accounting. This is a hands-on role for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys digging into details, solving problems, and building strong cross-functional relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure transactions are properly recorded, issues are identified and resolved, and financial information remains accurate and reliable. The ideal candidate is analytical, thorough, and highly dependable. They are comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with special projects and process improvements. Most importantly, they are someone who enjoys being a trusted business partner while maintaining a strong commitment to accounting excellence. What You'll Do Procure-to-Pay & Vendor Management Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor communications. Own the procure-to-pay process, ensuring invoices are accurately coded, approved, and paid in a timely manner. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Administer and optimize AP automation and spend management platforms such as Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, or similar tools. Support cash management activities and payment planning. Inventory, Manufacturing & Cost Accounting Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams on inventory accounting and operational reporting. Analyze inventory transactions, inventory reconciliations, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Assist with inventory valuation, reserve analysis, and manufacturing cost tracking. Support physical inventory counts and inventory control processes. Investigate and resolve inventory and costing discrepancies. General Accounting & Financial Operations Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close process. Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial statement preparation in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Assist with audit requests and maintain strong documentation and internal controls. Support fixed asset accounting, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other general accounting activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls. Tax, Analysis & Special Projects Support state sales and use tax compliance and filings. Assist with R D cost analysis and project-based financial reporting. Support ERP and accounting system implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives. Participate in special projects related to finance operations and company growth. Assist with equity administration and cap table analysis activities as needed. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4-5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and
U.S. GAAP.
Hands-on experience managing accounts payable and procure-to-pay processes. Experience with AP automation and spend management tools such as Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across functions. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities. Preferred CPA certification. Manufacturing, hardware, inventory, or cost accounting experience. Experience working with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting/ERP systems. Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations. Experience with Carta and equity or cap table administration. Experience working in a startup or high-growth company environment. Compensation Expected salary range:
