Contract coverage into February 2027 Seeking an experienced, hands-on accounting professional to provide temporary maternity leave coverage for hospitality operation. This position will begin on-site for training, with the potential for a hybrid schedule once fully trained. ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting in QuickBooks Online, including accounts payable, general ledger activity, bank and account reconciliations, and accurate recordkeeping.

Review restaurant sales, cash activity, employee hours, and tip information through Toast POS, including cash drawer and collection reconciliations.

Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll through Paychex, prepare monthly sales tax payments, and complete the monthly financial close.

Utilize Excel for accounting analysis and assist with budgeting, forecasting, discrepancy resolution, and other accounting needs based on experience.

QualificationsApproximately 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and monthly close.

Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills, including formulas and PivotTables, with payroll processing experience; Paychex experience preferred.

Restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage, winery, brewery, or similar industry experience preferred; Toast POS and sales tax experience are strong pluses.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently, take ownership of accounting responsibilities, and meet recurring weekly and monthly deadlines.
