Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The Senior Accountant will manage a portfolio of client engagements across tax, assurance, and advisory services, mentor junior staff, and serve as a trusted point of contact for our business and individual clients. This is a high-visibility role with a clear path toward Manager and Partner-track opportunities for CPAs (or CPA candidates) ready to take ownership of their career. What You'll Do Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts, and non-profits Plan, execute, and document audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAP and GAAS Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules with accuracy and timeliness Conduct tax research on complex issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and partners Provide proactive tax planning and advisory guidance to help clients minimize liability and achieve their goals Support CFO advisory engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, KPI reporting, and month-end/year-end close Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, responsive, and professional communication Mentor, review work of, and develop staff accountants and interns Stay current on changes in tax law, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Assist partners with special projects, process improvements, and firm initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5+ years of public accounting experience CPA license, or actively pursuing CPA (meaningful progress toward the exam expected) Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, federal and state tax law, and audit procedures Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar) and Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines Authorization to work in the United States; we do not provide sponsorship.
Please note:
This role will require you to be onsite and possibly driving to client sites as well. You need to be client facing. You must be able and willing to adapt to new technologies and software as our firm adds and implements software and AI in our practice. If you are not technologically inclined, you should note that there will be considerable difficulty on the job Pay:
