Chelsea, MA Job Details $85,000 - $95,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Senior Accountant CFS is partnering with a well-established organization in the Chelsea area to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in a collaborative, hybrid environment requiring two days per week in the office. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance within a fast-paced, operationally complex business. Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis Support audit requests and compliance requirements Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams In this role, the Senior Accountant will work closely with accounting leadership to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong understanding of GAAP Prior experience in a hands-on accounting role Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment The Senior Accountant should be comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities and contributing to continuous process improvement.
