The LPN will assist with patient care activities, support providers with clinical procedures, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role requires strong knowledge of infection control practices, delegation principles, and performance improvement standards. Responsibilities Provide nursing support within outpatient specialty clinic settings including OB/GYN, GI, and Cardiology Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical care activities Perform delegated nursing functions in accordance with scope of practice Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical information accurately Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies for patient visits Educate patients regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up instructions as directed Maintain accurate documentation within patient medical records Follow infection control and patient safety protocols at all times Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff Participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement initiatives Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program required Current New York State LPN license required Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Knowledge of infection control principles required Knowledge of performance improvement principles required Knowledge of delegation principles required Strong communication and patient care skills required Additional Requirements
