Job Description

This is a remote position.
Position:
Senior Accountant (Fully Remote)
Compensation Range:
$73,000
  • $77,000 We're looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting across multiple entities or client accounts.
You'll help maintain accurate financial records, improve processes, and leverage your QuickBooks Online expertise to support a high-performing team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently in a remote environment, and mentoring junior staff. Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting. Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate completion of all accounting tasks. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy. Analyze financial variances and provide insights to support business decisions. Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation to support compliance and audit requirements. Oversee accounting activities across multiple entities or client accounts. Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounting records and reporting. Review work and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, helping to ensure quality and consistency. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and reporting needs. Requirements
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong month-end close experience
  • Experience in multi-entity or client-based accounting environments
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong reconciliation and variance analysis skills
  • High level of documentation discipline
