Job Description
Experteer Overview In this Senior Accountant role, you will safeguard the integrity of financial records, lead month-end close activities, and collaborate with cross‑functional finance teams to deliver reliable financial information. You will support audits, regulatory filings, and international expansion efforts, reporting to CAT Management. You will drive process improvements and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and local standards. This is a hands-on position with growth opportunities in a growing team.
Compensation / Benefits
Own and execute month-end close in assigned areas (e.g., intercompany, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals)
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and local standards
Drive system and process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Provide feedback to preparers to improve accounting functions
Partner with AP, AR, Revenue, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to optimize data flows
Create and analyze financial statements
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit deliverables
Support regulatory filings in accordance with applicable rules and regulations Tasks
5+ years of relevant experience in public and/or corporate accounting
Strong understanding of
U.S. GAAP
; experience with audits and complex systems
Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar ERP systems
CPA or progress toward certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Key requirements
