As our Senior Accountant, you won't just manage the general ledger and month-end close—you'll help power the financial engine behind our accounting operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement in a fast-moving environment where collaboration across teams is key. You'll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR oversight, and—uniquely— owning and improving the integration between our operating and accounting systems . What You'll Do Own and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable , including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer billing Play a lead role in freight invoice audit and financial accuracy Partner with IT and Operations to monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system integrations between operating and accounting platforms Represent Accounting during new customer onboarding , ensuring smooth financial setup Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash positioning Own assigned areas of the month-end close , including journal entries and reconciliations Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and implement best practices Collaborate with Operations, Leadership, and other teams to support informed business decisions What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience , including 2+ years in a senior-level role Logistics, transportation, or freight experience is a strong plus Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar , plus strong Excel skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and spot trends High attention to detail with a problem-solving approach Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities What We Offer Hybrid work schedule (office + remote flexibility) Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) plan Paid parental leave Generous time-off options to support work-life balance A collaborative, no-drama culture that values initiative and continuous improvement Our Culture We're a tight-knit, high-performing 3PL that moves fast but values balance.
