full-time Senior Accountant - | South Florida ONLY | Mostly Remote (Inventory Experience Required)

What You'll Do:

Own the monthly reconciliation of inventory general ledger balances, investigating and resolving variances Monitor, validate, and approve inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment Coordinate and oversee cycle count programs across all branch locations Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures to drive consistency across the organization Investigate inventory discrepancies and partner with branch operations to identify root causes and implement solutions Prepare and publish monthly inventory financial reports, communicating trends and findings to management Serve as the go-to resource for inventory accounting questions across all branch locations Ensure proper application of costing methodologies in accordance with company policy and

GAAP What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field 4+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years focused on inventory management Hands-on experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools Solid understanding of inventory valuation methods and costing principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
