Full-Time What's a typical day as a Senior Accountant / Payroll Analyst?
You will:
Support day-to-day U.S. payroll operations including processing employee changes, new hires, terminations, leave of absences (LOAs), benefits, relocation, and expatriate payroll activities. Ensure payroll data is processed accurately and in compliance with legal, tax, labor law, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and respond to employee inquiries through the Employee Service Center ticketing system in a timely and professional manner. Utilize Workday Payroll and Microsoft Excel tools including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables to analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), internal finance policies, and Controllers Manual requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to support payroll processes and operational goals. Troubleshoot payroll issues, perform data analysis, and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure timely payroll processing. Maintain accurate payroll documentation, reporting, and audit readiness in a fast-paced, multi-national environment. Support payroll department goals and contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency, and team initiatives. Promote a positive and collaborative team environment while meeting strict deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Required:
5+ years of relevant payroll or accounting experience Working knowledge of Workday Payroll Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business teams
Preferred:
