Senior Accountant Edison, NJ | Hybrid - 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote Direct Hire | $85,000-$100,000 + Outstanding Benefits Kelly Services is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement. If you have strong GAAP knowledge, solid general ledger experience, and a background in manufacturing or cost accounting, this could be a great next step in your career. What You'll Do Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and financial reports Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking Support customer rebate and promotional program accounting Perform bank reconciliations and cash management activities Assist with inventory and cost accounting Review and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities Review accounting staff work and provide guidance as needed Support internal and external audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes and internal controls What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred Experience with Power BI is a plus CPA or CPA candidate preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience reviewing or supervising accounting staff preferred Office products or manufacturing industry experience is a plus Why You'll Love It Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Flexible work hours $85,000-$100,000 salary Medical, Dental & Vision Life Insurance Short- & Long-Term Disability AD&D Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Profit Sharing Paid Holidays Professional development opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented environment Weekly Pay through Kelly Services Ready to take the next step?
