Job Description
Specific Tasks:
3.1 Operations- 90% 3.1.1 Oversee African accounting functions across multiple countries for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, serve as mentor to staff
- 40% 3.1.2 Process higher-level functions for local offices including sales tax returns, payroll, monthly financials including P&L, balance sheet, statement of cash flows with schedules and analytics vs. budget, as well as intercompany reconciliation
- 20% 3.1.3 Manage parent company and Chinese subsidiary ledgers including intercompany reconciliations
- 5% 3.1.4 Catalog, track and notate any contracts including key terms, anniversary dates, and points of contact
- 5% 3.1.5 Develop and maintain SOPs for process, focusing on consistency across countries
- 5% 3.1.6 Partner with CFO and local heads to develop budgets by department an business unit
- 5% 3.1.7 Manage finance/accounting related projects including system review, upgrades, and development
- 10% 3.2 Real Estate
- 10% 3.2.1 Manage financials for two domestic commercial properties including daily banking, vendor payments, tenant invoices and receivables
