Job Description

As they expand their horizons, we are looking for talented Senior Accountants to join their team and contribute to their success story! Location - Fountain Valley, CA Schedule - M-F, 9am-5pm (Hybrid) Responsibilities of the
Senior Accountant:
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes. Ensure compliance with
US GAAP, SOX
internal controls, and company accounting policies. Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets. Prepare and file monthly SALT tax filings for Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Colorado. Manage posting of vendor invoices into ERP, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting period allocation. Oversee the import of credit card data from Concur into ERP. Prepare monthly upload of financial activity into corporate ERP. Handle prevailing wage filings, certified payroll, and other contract administration deliverables. Monitor subcontractor compliance with prevailing wage documentation. Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and documentation. Support external and internal audits by providing schedules and documentation within deadlines. Adhere to company policies regarding ethics, electronic communications, confidential information, insider trading, and safety. Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned to support the accounting department and company operations. Requirements of the
Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification strongly preferred. Public Accounting Experience strongly preferred Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:
