full-time We're a lean, high-growth outsourced accounting firm built to serve fast-scaling companies across industries. Today we're 230+ people strong, with plans to grow to 1,000 over the next 3-4 years through hiring and strategic acquisitions, and offices spanning Boston, New York, Atlanta, Florida, and Southern and Northern California. This is a true ground-floor opportunity to grow with the firm.

Compensation:
$95,000
- 130,000 (plus 5-15% bonus) As a Senior Accountant, you'll own month-end close for multiple clients in a modern, tech-enabled environment
- journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analysis
- using current ERP and automation tools rather than legacy manual processes.
You'll work directly with Finance Managers and Controllers and get broad exposure you won't find sitting in a single-company seat. What You'll Do Execute monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Prepare supporting schedules and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data Analyze financial results, investigate variances against prior periods and expectations, and provide clear explanations for client reporting Work within ERP and automation platforms, validating system-generated outputs and flagging anomalies Manage workload and priorities across multiple clients within defined close timelines Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and suggest process improvements What We're Looking For 2-6 years of accounting experience, in public accounting or industry Strong month-end close experience Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- this is not a task-execution-only role Comfortable working with modern systems and automation tools Preferred Biotech industry exposure, ideally pre-revenue companies Experience working across multiple entities or clients The Environment Boston-based role with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week in-office).
