full-time Senior Accountant - Up to $105k + generous bonus Our client, a highly respected organization, is hiring a Senior Property Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative group supporting a dynamic portfolio and several high-profile development projects in the Philadelphia market. The ideal candidate is not just a strong accountant-they are a critical thinker, problem solver, and self-starter who enjoys asking questions, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, acquisitions, asset management, investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders while working in a flexible, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing a small accounting team responsible for preparing monthly financial statements Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting detail schedules Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned property portfolios Prepare monthly financial reporting packages Partner with acquisitions and asset management teams on quarterly valuations Collaborate with site management teams, corporate leadership, external tax teams, auditors, and lenders Prepare and record quarterly distribution calculations Develop annual CAM reconciliation schedules Review and approve property invoices while supporting timely accounts payable processing Prepare ad hoc financial schedules and reporting for management and investors Assist with lender draw requests for capital projects and maintain capital budgets Complete monthly U&O tax filings and license renewals as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of property accounting experience Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes Public accounting experience is a plus Yardi experience preferred
