Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insights to enhance financial performance. This position requires a strong understanding of auditing principles and practices, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Public Accounting Experience is required .
Essential Skills and Requirements:
MUST have 3-5 recent years of Public Accounting experience in the Audit field. Licensed CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures. Ability to lead and guide less experienced staff. Knowledge of CCH ProSystems Engagement audit software is a plus. Proficient in financial auditing practices and procedures. Strong financial analysis capabilities with a keen eye for detail. Solid understanding of risk management principles. Experience with general ledger accounting and public accounting environments. Familiarity with various accounting software tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive financial audits in accordance with GAAP framework. Analyze financial statements and reports to assess accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in financial operations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations affecting the industry. Utilize accounting software for data analysis and reporting purposes. Provide high quality, professional day to day performance and preparations of audit engagements and projects in line with firm expectations. Participate in client and engagement team interactions in a professional manner, including properly conveying information gathered from the client to the engagement team. Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application.
