full-time We're partnering with a growing, acquisition-minded manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Cost Accountant supporting multiple production facilities across U.S. locations. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role reporting to the Controller, with responsibility for cost accounting activities across several manufacturing sites . Location Options This role can be based out of any of the following locations: Wisconsin Missouri Illinois Hybrid schedule: ~2 days in office Light travel (~10%) across sites Role Overview The Senior Cost Accountant will serve as the primary accounting partner supporting manufacturing operations across all sites, ensuring accurate cost tracking, inventory accounting, and financial reporting within a growing, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee cost accounting activities across several manufacturing locations Support standard cost development, variance analysis, and reporting Maintain and analyze inventory accounting and valuation Partner with operations to improve cost visibility and efficiency Support month-end close and financial reporting processes Work within ERP systems Assist with process improvements and system enhancements across sites What We're Looking For 4+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Experience with multi-site or multi-entity environments a plus ERP experience Strong Excel and analytical skills Ability to work independently and partner with operations Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability Why This Role Exposure to several manufacturing sites with broad responsibility High visibility to leadership and Controller Stable, growing organization with both organic growth and acquisitions Strong work-life balance and flexible hybrid structure Clear growth potential toward Assistant Controller or Director-level roles
