StevenDouglas has partnered with a high-growth real estate development firm based in South Florida that develops affordable housing communities. They are actively seeking a Senior Development Accountant , open due to growth of the firm as the firm continues to take on new development projects!What makes this role different:

What you'll own: Full-cycle project accounting for a portfolio of affordable housing development deals, including budgets, vendor contracts, and reconciliations Monthly construction draw preparation and submission to lenders, investors, and public funders Notice to Owner tracking, lien waiver management, and payment release coordination Financial close support across each project phase, including cost certification packages during stabilization What they're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in real estate development accounting Affordable housing experience required; LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) exposure strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Yardi VoyageBenefits
