Senior Investment Accountant - REMOTE Our client is seeking a Senior Investment Accountant to join their team. This role is a great opportunity for someone coming out of public accounting with strong analytical skills and investment accounting exposure to work in a collaborative, high-impact environment supporting complex financial reporting and operations.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and reconcile complex investment transactions across multiple systems Maintain and update investment accounting records and sub-ledger systems Support accounting and reporting for investment-related assets Partner with internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies Assist in improving processes, reporting, and system functionality Support financial reporting, analysis, and audit-related activities Provide guidance and support to junior team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 4+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or investment-related experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts Experience working with large data sets and reconciliations Advanced Excel skills; ERP or financial systems experience preferred Exposure to investment accounting or financial instruments is a plus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
