Hybrid | Monday-Friday, 8: 00 AM -5: 00 PM

Location:

 Cincinnati, OH trak group is partnering with a growing organization to fill a Senior Property Accountant role on a direct-hire basis. This is a hybrid position offering a competitive salary, bonus potential, ESOP participation, and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple properties in accordance with GAAP, tax basis, and company policies Maintain property-level general ledgers, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Serve as the primary point of contact for the asset management team on all financial matters Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements with variance analysis Collaborate with asset management on annual operating budgets and forecasts Present monthly financial highlights and variance analysis to leadership Monitor accounts receivable and payable for accuracy and timeliness Lead and support year-end GAAP audits for select legal entities Oversee CAM reconciliations, ensuring expenses are accurately allocated and reconciled against lease agreements Maintain timely bank and balance sheet reconciliations Lead preparation and analysis for property tax appeals Calculate, review, and process management, development, and asset management fees Perform quarterly accounting and reporting for equity funds Identify and implement process improvements as opportunities arise

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of property or real estate accounting experience Experience with Yardi highly preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Foundational understanding of US GAAP Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A self-starter mindset with a desire to grow and broaden your accounting expertise Ready to take the next step?
