  • $125,000 per year Job Details
  • Responsibilities Own monthly, quarterly and annual close across a portfolio of commercial properties Prepare and review property-level and consolidated financial statements Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations Prepare operating statements and budget-to-actual variance analysis Handle CAM reconciliations, expense recoveries and tenant billings Maintain rent roll accuracy and support receivables and collections Manage accounts payable, vendor payments and property-level cash activity Administer lease abstracts, rent escalations and other lease-related accounting Support annual operating budgets and reforecasts Prepare lender reporting and monitor reserve and escrow requirements Assist with accounting onboarding for new acquisitions Support refinancings, dispositions and year-end reporting Partner closely with asset management and the Partners Help create more scalable accounting processes, controls and reporting as the portfolio grows Qualifications 3+ years of property accounting or real estate accounting experience Commercial real estate experience preferred Strong understanding of property-level financial statements, month-end close, CAM reconciliations, expense recoveries, tenant billing and rent roll experience preferred Experience working across multiple properties and/or legal entities Yardi, MRI, AppFolio or similar property accounting software experience Strong Excel skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field CPA is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with senior leadership Ability to operate successfully in a growing, hands-on environment A bit about us:•A private real estate investment company focused on acquiring, owning and operating a growing portfolio of commercial, multi-tenant industrial and flex properties.
