We leverage cloud technology, automation, and proactive client service to help business owners make better financial decisions throughout the year—not just at tax time. We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Part-Time Senior Accountant to help manage recurring accounting engagements, support tax compliance work, and contribute to an exceptional client experience. Position Overview The Part-Time Senior Accountant will play a key role in serving business clients by reviewing bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, assisting with tax engagements, and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients. This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys meaningful client relationships, flexible work arrangements, and helping small businesses succeed. Primary ResponsibilitiesClient Accounting Services (CAS) Review bookkeeping completed by staff or clients Perform account reconciliations and month-end close procedures Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness Identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies Assist with implementation of accounting best practices Client Advisory Support Participate in client meetings as needed Analyze financial results and trends Assist with budgeting and forecasting projects Provide proactive recommendations to improve client financial performance Support quarterly tax planning initiatives Tax Responsibilities Prepare and review business tax returns (1120S, 1065, and 1120) Assist with individual tax return preparation and review Respond to basic client tax questions Assist with tax projections and planning engagements Internal Responsibilities Train and mentor junior team members Review staff work for accuracy and completeness Help develop and improve workflows and procedures Support continued adoption of technology and automation tools QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of public accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation Experience preparing business tax returns Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently Preferred CPA license (active or inactive) Client Accounting Services (CAS) experience Experience with payroll and sales tax compliance Experience with tax planning engagements Familiarity with cloud-based accounting technology

$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
