Full Job Description Experience:
Senior Level Salary:
$70,000•$75,000 per year Job Details•Responsibilities As a Permanent Senior Staff Accountant, you will: 1. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 2. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. 3. Handle job costing and review contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition. 4. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP. 5. Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations. 6. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; understand and communicate financial results to management. 7. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and analyzing trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures, and other related areas. 8. Work closely with the audit team to assist in the annual audit and tax processes. 9. Utilize Acumatica or equivalent software to automate and streamline accounting processes. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in construction or related field, with working knowledge of WIP Reporting 3. Proven experience with job costing, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and month-end procedures. 4. Proficiency in using Acumatica or equivalent software. 5. Strong analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner. 7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically about business problems.
