Hybrid Flexibility Available Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Senior / Tax Manager to join a growing public accounting firm in the Greater Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate will have strong public tax accounting experience, expertise in pass-through entity taxation, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while delivering exceptional client service. This role is best suited for professionals with 3-10 years of public accounting experience who can independently prepare and review complex tax returns and contribute to tax planning and advisory services. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns. Handle tax engagements for S-Corporations (1120S), Partnerships (1065), and other business entities. Provide tax planning, compliance, and research services for clients across various industries. Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and advisory support. Mentor and guide junior staff members and assist with technical development. Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategic solutions. Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and client service initiatives. Utilize UltraTax or similar tax software to efficiently manage tax engagements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA License is highly preferred and considered the ideal qualification. Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is also acceptable. 3-10 years of public tax accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in business taxation. Strong experience preparing and reviewing 1120S (S-Corporation) and 1065 (Partnership) tax returns. Solid understanding of tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting principles. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience functioning at the Tax Senior or Tax Manager level. Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff. Proficiency with UltraTax or comparable professional tax software. Experience with tax research and advisory services. Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.
