Staff Accountant – Hybrid |
Norwalk, CT Compensation:
$80,000 – $85,000 A fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing company in Norwalk, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This hybrid role (three days onsite, two days remote) is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with a couple of years of accounting experience who's eager to grow in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant , you will: Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes Support the preparation of monthly financial statements Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations Collaborate with the Senior Accountant on various accounting tasks Contribute to ad hoc projects and provide general accounting support
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Basic Excel skills and a willingness to learn new systems A proactive, team-oriented mindset and eagerness to grow #
