Staff Accountant Compensation:
$60,000 – $70,000

Orlando, FL | Onsite Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area. What makes this Staff Accountant role especially compelling: Hybrid schedule after successful onboarding and training Stable organization with outstanding employee tenure and career development opportunities Opportunity to own the accounting process for multiple client portfolios Direct exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and fund accounting Strong mentorship, professional development, and tuition reimbursement Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer match, profit sharing, performance bonuses, generous PTO, and student loan assistance Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reporting for assigned entities Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communications Coordinate accounts receivable activities, billing, collections, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support annual financial audits by preparing schedules and working directly with external auditors Monitor budgets and assist with ongoing budget management activities Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies while maintaining strong internal controls Communicate professionally with clients and external stakeholders regarding financial matters Assist with special projects and continuous process improvements Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience Experience with financial statement preparation, reconciliations, AP, AR, and month-end close Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles Strong Microsoft Excel skills Government, fund accounting, professional services, or public accounting experience is a plus Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements Benefits & Growth Hybrid work schedule after training Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing Generous PTO and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Student loan repayment assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Formal mentorship and professional development programs Stable organization with long-term career advancement opportunities This Staff Accountant opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional looking to build a long-term career within a collaborative, client-focused environment.
