Beverage Manufacturing / Consumer Packaged Goods About the Company We are partnering with a rapidly growing, privately held beverage manufacturing company that specializes in the co-manufacturing and packaging of canned beverages for leading national brands . The company is experiencing significant growth and is expanding its accounting organization to support new manufacturing facilities and production capacity. About the Role The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting . This position will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other cross-functional teams in a high-growth manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Support the monthly and periodic financial close , including journal entries and account reconciliations. Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP . Assist with manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and job costing across production runs. Support inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, and cycle count activities . Assist with AR/revenue accounting and related financial reporting. Prepare accounting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for management reporting. Support annual audits, internal controls, and requests for financial documentation. Document and improve accounting processes, procedures, and controls. Partner with Operations, Finance, and other departments to research and resolve accounting issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency . Qualifications 2-4 years of accounting experience . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting . Experience with month-end close, GL accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations . Exposure to manufacturing, CPG, or consumer products strongly preferred. Experience with cost accounting, standard costing, job costing, inventory, or cycle counts . Experience with AR/revenue accounting. Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate financial data. Experience working with a cloud-based ERP system . SAP experience preferred . CPA coursework or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
