Staff Accountant

is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, compliance reporting, and cross-functional finance needs. Corporate Headquarters Baltimore, MD / Hybrid Role Overview The Staff Accountant will support the accounting team through general ledger work, daily reconciliations, journal entries, expense accruals, variance analysis, fixed asset tracking, and healthcare-related reporting support. Key Responsibilities Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Prepare journal entries and support month-end close Accrue expenses and assist with budget variance analysis Track fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and medical equipment leases Assist with tax filings, cost reports, and healthcare regulatory audits Partner with cross-functional departments as needed Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-4 years of accounting experience Public accounting experience preferred Healthcare or aesthetics industry experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite preferred This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is organized, accurate, and ready to contribute to a growing healthcare-focused organization.
