Job Description
Job DescriptionJob Description A growing investment and management company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career accountant looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and support accounts receivable activities
- Review and reconcile cash, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support billing, expense tracking, and other general accounting functions
- Collaborate with internal departments and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
