In this role, you will be instrumental in managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting financial reporting processes. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems will help maintain accurate financial records, facilitate audits, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional eager to grow their accounting career within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining vendor and customer relationships. Utilize financial software such SAP or Oracle record transactions, generate reports, and analyze financial data. Conduct month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation, ledger review, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Handle confidential information with integrity while providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external vendors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Proven experience in corporate or governmental accounting environments with strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles. Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable. Familiarity with accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and ledger management. Strong numeracy skills combined with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to collaborate effectively across teams.
