Salary:

$70,000 - $80,000 + discretionary bonus A well-established Bay Area company is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants broad exposure, a supportive team, and the opportunity to continue learning. The ideal candidate may have 1+ year of accounting experience, although recent accounting graduates with strong internships, coursework, or related experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Assist with month-end close and general ledger accounting Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Reconcile cash, revenue, and other financial activity Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Work with different departments to ensure accurate financial information Help improve accounting processes and procedures Support special projects and other areas of the accounting team as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 0-2+ years of accounting experience Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Comfortable working in Excel and learning new systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Curious, proactive, and willing to ask questions Someone who enjoys learning and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment This could be an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career accountant looking to build a strong foundation and gain exposure to multiple areas of accounting.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000 base salary, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
