Job Description Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant. The position is hybrid located in Santa Monica, CA.

Salary:

$75k - $95k

Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including receiving invoices, assigning appropriate coding, coordinating approvals, onboarding vendors, and handling payments Keep vendor records up to date and ensure all required tax forms and supporting documentation are properly collected and compliant Handle accounts receivable activities such as preparing invoices, communicating with clients, following up on outstanding balances, and reviewing aging reports Manage corporate card programs (e.g., Brex/Ramp), including issuing cards, guiding employees on usage, enforcing policies, reviewing receipts, and reconciling transactions Coordinate employee expense reimbursements in partnership with HR Record journal entries and support accounting for accruals and prepaid expenses Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations with thorough documentation Contribute to strengthening internal controls and refining accounting processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, ideally within startup environments, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and limited resources Solid understanding of core

U.S. GAAP
