Are you a detail-oriented Tax Accountant looking for flexible work with seasonal variety? We're seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team serving our individual and business clients. Strong advancement opportunities. About the
Role:
In this position, you'll play a key role in preparing individual and business tax returns, working closely as part of our team. The workload will ramp up between January and April, with a lighter schedule from May through December, offering an excellent work-life balance for the right professional. This position can be hybrid or fully remote.
What You'll Do:
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexities Assist with tax planning and projections for clients Communicate with clients regarding tax issues, deadlines, and documentation Stay current on tax law changes and best practices Adjust clients' books and records as needed annually, quarterly or monthly. Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience at national, regional or local firm Significant experience with individual, partnership, corporate, estate and trust returns Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Proficiency with tax software, preferably UltraTax and document management systems Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience preparing nonprofit returns a plus Why Work With Us? $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
