Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive /Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing essential accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization's financial health. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with accounting standards . Duties Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Perform account reconciliation tasks, including bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis to verify data integrity. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining detailed records. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to confirm the accuracy of financial statements and support month-end closing activities. Utilize accounting software Sage, to record transactions, generate reports, and analyze financial data. Prepare payroll , tax preparation, and governmental accounting requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports that aid in strategic decision-making. Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, GAAP standards, and financial concepts. Proficiency in accounting software, Sage. Experience with general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and journal entry preparation. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for bookkeeping tasks like balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
Pay:
$15,000.00 - $21,000.00 per year
