We are seeking an Associate Project Accountant to join our accounting team and support project financials from preconstruction through closeout. Position Summary The Associate Project Accountant will play a key role in supporting project teams through data entry across multiple systems which provide accurate job cost tracking and financial reporting throughout the organization. This position works closely with project managers, operations, and accounting leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial information. This role has the potential to progress into a Project Accountant role, which would include being largely responsible for most financials aspects of multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in construction accounting software, including Foundations Construction Software and Procore . This candidate should also be self-motivated and demonstrate strong time management skills. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Data Entry

• Enter and maintain financial data in Foundations Construction Software
• Process invoices, subcontractor pay applications, and cost allocations
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable related to project activity
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors regarding invoicing, payment status and compliance when necessary. System & Team Collaboration
• Work within Procore to support project financial workflows
• Coordinate with project managers and operations staff to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with document management related to contracts, change orders, and billing
• Support accounting team with audits, reporting, and internal controls as needed Qualifications Required
• 2+ years of experience in construction accounting or project accounting
• Experience with construction accounting software (Foundations, Sage/Timberline, or similar)
• Familiarity with Procore or other construction project management platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience working for a construction management or general contracting firm
• Understanding of job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and cost-to-complete What We Offer

Pay:

$63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
