Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin building a strong foundation in corporate finance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn how business operations translate into financial results. This role is integral to the accounting function and will actively support the monthly close process, financial accuracy, and continuous improvement of accounting procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP Perform account reconciliations, including prepaid, accrual, and balance sheet accounts Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and maintain proper documentation Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Assist with variance analysis and research discrepancies Maintain organized records and supporting schedules for audit readiness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business transactions and their accounting impact Provide support for external audits and internal reviews Participate in process improvement initiatives within the accounting department Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior work experience required Internship or academic experience using Microsoft Excel preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written (especially in email) and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor with the ability to work in a team environment Ability to follow direction and adapt to feedback and redirection Willingness to learn and develop business acumen Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data organization) preferred High level of integrity and accountability Demonstrate reliability, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to meeting work schedule expectations What You Will Gain Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting processes Exposure to how accounting supports broader business operations Mentorship and development under the Director of Accounting Opportunity to grow within the accounting/finance function Work Environment Collaborative, team-oriented setting Structured processes with opportunities for learning and growth Professional office environment
