[About Our Client] Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. [Job Description] Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules. Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience in financial reporting and account reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (systems used at Kiswire are Sage and Microsoft Dynamic). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
