09/03/2026 Cost Accountant Analyst General Description The Cost Accountant Analyst will collect and analyze financial information related to the organizations expenses, seeking ways to improve accuracy of budgets and forecast, and to decrease the cost of assigned departments and projects. Responsibilities Gathers and complies cost information Maintains database concerning cost and expenses Performs monthly and year end closing Analyzes expenses and cost transaction; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments. Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs, forecast of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency. Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models. Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs. Perform other related duties, as assigned. Analyze and report the product and part cost Create idea for improvement Job Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Work Experience Experience with standard costing, activity-based costing (ABC), and inventory management Experience in the lighting industry or a related fiel d is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical skills Good ethical characteristics and behaviors Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures Proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required (for communication with HQ).
