Position Summary
Are you an accounting professional who enjoys digging into the details while helping drive business success? We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting critical month-end and year-end close processes.
As a valued member of the team, you'll collaborate across departments, analyze financial data, improve processes, and contribute to strategic initiatives that supportpany growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoysbining analytical thinking with problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
After successfulpletion of onboarding and training, this position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work scle.
What You'll Do
Financial Accounting & Reconciliations
Prepare, maintain, and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring the accuracy of prepaids, accruals, and recurring journal entries.
Research and resolve outstanding reconciling items while providing explanations for account variances.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Cash Management
Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity.
Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
Fixed Asset Accounting
Record and maintain fixed asset transactions, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
Track capital expenditures and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Expense & Credit Card Administration
Manage the corporate credit card program.
Administer the Concur expense reporting system and support employees with related processes.
General Ledger Management
Maintain the integrity and structure of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
Ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting across theanization.
Business Partnership & Process Improvement
Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, financial reporting, acquisitions, and key business projects.
Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
Support additional accounting and finance initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong analytical,anizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbalmunication skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with JD Edwards ERP software is a plus.
Ability to work independently, prioritizepeting responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with leadership teams and cross-functional partners.
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
